What We Do
What is Placenta Encapsulation?
The placenta is an incredible organ that nourishes babies during pregnancy, and produces valuable nutrients that can assist with the mother’s recovery after childbirth. Placenta encapsulation is a process where a whole placenta is transformed into pills that can be taken orally (placentophagy) by the mother.
What is Placentophagy?
The act of ingesting ones own placenta after giving birth.
The purpose of placentophagy by the mother is to reintroduce the beneficial vitamins, hormones and nutrients into her body. It also acts as a natural healing agent against postpartum depression and other related issues.
